About Norvesqa
Decision support built for people who carry the risk themselves
Norvesqa exists to give freelancers and independent consultants the same calibre of capital decision-making that larger firms take for granted — without the overhead.
Why we started here
Independent professionals manage income volatility, tax obligations, and reinvestment decisions largely on their own, often with spreadsheets and guesswork standing in for proper planning tools. We saw a gap between the sophisticated risk-adjusted frameworks used by institutions and the reality facing freelancers who need the same discipline applied to their own, smaller balance sheets. Norvesqa was built to close that gap.
Our mission
We help self-employed professionals across the UK make steadier, better-informed decisions about their working capital — how much to set aside, how much risk to carry, and when to adjust course — using AI-driven analysis instead of static rules of thumb.
Our approach is deliberately narrow: we focus on risk-adjusted capital management for individuals who don't have a finance department, rather than trying to be a general-purpose financial product.
What we value
These principles guide how we build Norvesqa and how we talk about what it can and can't do.
Clarity over complexity
We favour explanations and recommendations that an independent professional can actually act on, rather than opaque outputs that require a finance background to interpret.
Risk-awareness by default
Every suggestion we surface is framed in terms of the risk being taken on, not just the potential upside, because capital decisions without that context are incomplete.
Built for the self-employed
We design specifically around irregular income and solo decision-making, rather than adapting tools originally built for salaried employees or larger businesses.
The team behind Norvesqa
Norvesqa is built by a small, focused group combining backgrounds in applied modelling, product design, and independent consulting work. We use our own tool to manage our own capital decisions, which keeps us honest about what actually helps and what doesn't.
Modelling & analysis

Product & experience
Focused on making complex capital guidance understandable and usable for people without a finance background.
